Your adventure begins by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of traditional Berber settlements and dramatic mountain vistas.
The first significant stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is one of Morocco's most popular historical sites. After touring this ancient fortified settlement, travel to Ouarzazate, known as the Sahara's gateway, and you will discover the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in Ouarzazate before continuing the excursion through the magical Valley of the Roses, which is known for its lush scenery and rose-based goods.

As the sun sets over the dunes, take in the spectacular Sahara sunset before arriving at your Berber desert tent in Merzouga. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal, followed by a Berber music drum band show around the campfire. Spend the night in a cozy Berber tent beneath a starry Sahara sky.
After breakfast and a refreshing shower at the desert camp, we leave the Merzouga Sahara Desert and head west toward Ouarzazate.
Today, our journey takes you through several gorgeous cities, including Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine, N'Kob, and Agdz, with magical vistas of desert landscapes, traditional villages, and palm-filled oases. We proceed through the picturesque Draa Valley, which is known for its lush palm grove trees and old kasbahs.
Today's total driving time is about 5 to 6 hours, with breaks along the way to explore the landscape and take beautiful photos.
